AMG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, DIGA Studios, is a next-gen content studio committed to great storytelling across formats, genres and platforms. Founded by former MTV President Tony DiSanto and staffed with a deep bench of industry innovators, DIGA Studios productions are marked by a rebellious and sometimes subversive pop sensibility that resonates with youthful audiences worldwide.  

Past hits include “Teen Wolf” and “Scream”, while current productions run the gamut from lifestyle programs to game shows to horror to podcasts, with “Million Dollar Beach House” (Netflix), “Hot Ones: The Game Show” (truTV), “50 States of Fright” (Quibi) and “Bad Ass Jews” (podcast) currently airing.

Tony DiSanto
Chief Executive Officer

Tony began his career as an intern at MTV while studying film & television at NYU.  This began a 20-year attachment to the network working as a Director, Producer, Executive Producer, and eventually President.  Tony was responsible for co-creating / developing the long-running Total Request Live (TRL) and Developed/Executive Produced hit series including Made, Run’s House, Laguna Beach, Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out, The Hills, America’s Best Dance Crew, Jersey Shore, and Teen Mom among many, many more.  In 2009, Tony was appointed President of MTV, taking the reins on scripted & reality series, live events, specials, and feature films for TV, leading to the biggest ratings turnaround in the channel’s history in 2010.  During Tony’s tenure as MTV president, the network’s ratings rose 30 percent and several shows became the highest rated on cable television.  Now, Tony focuses his creative vision and experience on creating content across a wide array of networks and platforms.

Shawn Strickland
President

Prior to joining AMG Shawn served as Executive Vice President, Development, Distribution and Business & Legal Affairs at Complex Networks, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Complex’s premium video business. 

Before joining Complex Networks, Shawn spent 19 years at Verizon where he served in a number of leadership roles focused on building and deploying the company’s video and content strategies.  Key leadership roles included:  Head of Product Innovation; CEO of Redbox Instant By Verizon; and Region President of Verizon’s New York South/East wireline region.  Earlier in his career Strickland developed, launched and led Verizon’s award-winning FiOS product portfolio, including FiOS TV.  

Shawn is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He received his MBA from Columbia University and his AB from Harvard University. He is a US Patent holder and credited producer, a frequent speaker and was recognized by Multichannel News for his leadership of the FiOS program in their 2006 “40 Under 40” list.

Lisa Carrioulo
SVP Finance

Lisa is a 20+ year finance executive specializing in Entertainment companies of all sizes.

Before joining ALLYANCE, Lisa was Controller & Director of Finance for Wanderlust, a global yoga and wellness hub combining live events, online classes, and e-commerce and included by Fast Company on their Most Innovative Companies list in 2018. Prior to Wanderlust Lisa built her career supporting live music productions at AEG Live and Live Nation.  

Lisa attended the Babson College MBA program where she discovered a passion for startups.  Her hometown is Boston and although she is currently living in NY, she will always love her Boston sports teams.  Besides reading Balance Sheets, Lisa enjoys binge watching great TV shows, attending live concerts, trying new restaurants in the City and working out so she can eat more food.
